  1. Daunte Wright had absolutely NO excuse for missing his hearing via Zoom. I work with the courts, and they verify all your information. They even send links to your phone number. There was no excuse.
    Is the law about having nothing hanging from your rear view mirror stupid? Yes. The same law exists in VA, and if I still lived there, I would have nothing hanging from my mirror. They don’t even let those of us that are handicapped hang the sign unless we’re parked about to enter an establishment.
    But I doubt the cop will have these 2nd degree manslaughter charges stick. Wright drove off, and crashed into someone else, which more than likely caused his death.
    I am in the minority with you both, because if a family member messes up, I’m holding them accountable for their actions. If their fuck up results in their death, I’ll miss them, probably, but I’ll keep it real and say that they caused their death.
    And of course, I’d love to be on the livestream.
