  3. I was a nurse when the N95 came out. It was to be mandatory for TB. We all had to be fit tested with saccharin sprayed in the room. If you could taste the saccharin, you failed the fit test.

    After months of fit testing, we were told they were not effective and put on the shelf. That is why they were on the shelf in short supply.

    They won’t tell anyone this.

  5. Nurses got stuck with needles from HIV patients. I worked with them in 1992. They didn’t always get HIV because when it hits air, it dies. Hepatitis B, on the other hand, can live for 6 months on a surface.
