If you were interested in entertainment last night maybe you watched Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley Part II. The rematch ended in epic fashion with Paul knocking out Woodley cold in the 6th round. Paul is not a legitimate professional fighter. He has yet to fight a real boxer. Woodley was an over the hill MMA fighter that lost his last 4 matches in MMA and only had two boxing matches, both against Paul.
The knockout really seemed like it was out of a Rocky movie, namely Rocky IV when Ivan Drago knocks out and kills Apollo Creed. The knockout was so viscous that the referee did not want anyone in the ring and called for a doctor and understandably so.
For Jake Paul to get any real respect in the ring he must fight a real professional boxer. I do believe if he did, he would get destroyed by just tomato can boxers. Paul is an entertainer and not a boxer. These types of fights are making boxing a joke. Jake Paul is a bigger name in boxing than many legitimate boxers who would wipe the floor with him.
I respect his hustle, but respect as a boxer, he does not get that from me. Tyron Woodley is below even a tomato can as a boxer. Knocking out Nate Robinson, former NBA, is not impressive as a boxer. I do wonder how real boxers feel about their sport being turned into a joke and matches like this overshadowing actual real professional boxing matches.
Enough with the games Jake Paul. Fight a real boxer and earn respect and not just earning money.
