Kyrie Irving placed in NBA Health and Safety Protocol after a possible positive COVID test!

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has been placed in NBA Health and Safety Protocols not one day after the Nets allowed him to return to the team. The Brooklyn Nets are ravaged by a China Virus outbreak as now 9 players on the team are in the protocol.

There is no word on if he tested positive for the virus, but he would have needed to test negative for 5 straight days before even rejoining the team and being put into the protocols. This leads me to believe he did test positive for COVID

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted this out:

Also joining Irving on the list is the Nets best player Kevin Durant. There is no word on if any player is experiencing any symptoms and there is no timetable on Irving’s return to the lineup. Irving has been very vocable about his opposition to vaccine mandates and has stood his ground and not bent the knee to politicians in New York City to get the jab. Keep in mind the other 8 Nets players in the protocol are fully vaccinated.
