Rudy Gobert SUSPENDED for Play In Game vs Lebron James’ Lakers!

Rudy Gobert has been suspended not by the NBA but, by the Minnesota Timberwolves for the NBA Play In Game vs the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday Night. He got into a altercation on the side of the court with teammate Kyle Anderson.

The Timberwolves were down by 12 when during a time out Gobert and Anderson got into a war of words. This led to a serious breakdown between the two teammates. It just got uglier from there. ESPN reported that Gobert told Kyle Anderson to start getting more rebounds while Anderson told Gobert to block shots.

Things escalated when Anderson told Gobert to “shut the f–k up, b–ch.”

Rudy Gobert has since issued an apology through his official Twitter account:

One could certainly say the suspension leads the Lakers to a easier path to advancing in the NBA playoffs. NBA will certainly appreciate having Lebron James involved if they can get him in the opening round.

Whichever team wins the Play In Game will face the No. 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
